Thursday the 5th - 6pm showing of Invisible Children at the HUB. This is a new movie. No one has scene it yet!
Sat. 7th and Sun 8th. - Select Terranova Youth have volunteered to Help Albertson's on Muirlands feed needy people this Thanksgiving. You know who you are and if you'd like to get involved email Trent at tac28@cox.net.
Sat. 7th and Sunday 8th - The high school group is having a fundraiser down at Ruby's diner in the Mission Viejo Mall. Bring in a flyer that you can download Here and then we'll earn 20% of the bill. If you are having trouble with the link go to the high school section of the www.ourterranova.com and their will be a link there as well.
Monday the 9th through Friday the 13th is small group weeks. We alternate between large group gatherings like the one on the 5th and small groups that happen throughout the week. However we have a great event on that Thursday:
Thursday the 12th - A HUGE FEEDtheMUSIC with hip-hop artists Manafest and Flynn Adam, 7-9pm and its $5 w/ a side dish and $12 w/out. Check out www.FEEDtheMUSIC.net to get to know the artists and just what a big deal this is for people in and around Terranova. This is for everyone of all ages!
Sunday the 15th - Parent Meeting after the second service in the High School room.
Wednesday the 18th - Get ready for a Zoolander themed Thanksgiving Night. Dress like a supermodel and be prepared to drink Orange Mocha Fraps.
January 1-3 - Winter Camp at HUME Lake. Cost is $275 and we need your money in ASAP ($100 deposit to hold your spot) We have very little spots.

Parent Meeting: November 15th and WINTER CAMP
November 15th after second service (approx. 12:30) there will be a parent meeting in "the drain" - the high school room of Terranova.
FYI - Winter Camp is Jan. 1-3 and it is approx. $275 and will be back at HUME LAKE which is new for us. There are plenty of snow/non-snow options for people to have fun and grow a lot at this winter camp. WE NEED A DEPOSIT ASAP FOR $100 TO MAKE SURE YOU CAN GO.
fro distribution: the fathom thirty-three fundraiser
Last week we unleashed the best fundraiser in Western Civilization history. Just a reminder that the order forms and money are due on Sunday Nov. 30th. and the shirts will be delivered December 14th (Sun), just in time for Christmas.
What is this fundraiser you say? Maybe you missed our explanation. Here is a quick run down:
Let me explain how it works: Your student (or maybe you are the student) will get an order form (think girl scout cookies) and will presale fathom shirts and collect the money. At the due date (the current due date is set for Nov. 30th) the students will turn in the money and we will then print the shirts, sort them and return them to you on Dec. 14th for your student (or yourself) to redistribute to their clients.
Shirts are $23.20 + Tax ($25) and every shirt sold puts $10 torwards winter camp (or something else within the church like summer camp). You will get the check the day the shirts are delivered so you will have payment in plan. For example, if you student sells 40 shirts total, that is $400 raised.
In order to provide the students with the best resources, we provide them with receipts, envelopes and folders and order forms along with information on "How to sell fathom thirty-three." Its a complete package that all you have to do is introduce and we can be there to explain the process to the kids. Both the Jr. High and High school groups will be participating in this fundraiser as it is the perfect timing for such an event right before Christmas.
If the question pops up - can my group do this, the answer is yes. We are currently looking to branch this out to other churches and groups that have a need to raise capital.

Winter X: Filter
I know everyone is dying to know how we could possibly have a greater winter camp than last year. Well, we can't promise a blizzard and multiple power outages, but we think this year is going to surpass anything you've ever known.
So get ready, because we are going back up to June MTN on January 1-4th. Keep your party hat on and stay up all night and then sleep on the ride up!
The cost looks like it will be $280 (NEW LOWER PRICE) plus an number combinations of lift tickets. If you want to ride one day or two or none - its up to you. If you are between 13-18 then a one day lift ticket will run you $43 and a 2day lift ticket will be $92. Anyone older than that is going to have to ask about the other prices.
We have 26 spots left. So get in your $150 deposit asap. ALL MONEY IS DUE DECEMBER 14TH. If you sign up after Dec. 14th, there will be no price break as we are looking into ways to lower the cost (see below). Deposits are not refundable, depending on circumstances they can be transferable.
One way to lower the cost of the trip is if we find two vans that hold 10-12 people. Right now we have budgeted renting two vans apart from our own church van. Any avoidance of rentals will save us some money. People, put out your van feelers!
THE MOST KICK BUTT FUNDRAISER IS AVAILIBLE! Who knows, maybe you could go for free!!!!!

October 4th - Ignite @ BIOLA - leadership training event for teams of high school students. 8:30-3:30pm $7 www.igniteteam.org All leaders and kids must attend this event!!!! Meet at the HUB at 8am and make sure you have printed off the registration form from their site. This price includes lunch
October 16th - Profile Pic Night @ Hub. Because your Social Network deserves the best of you! 6 photographiers, 6 stations, all your friends with tons of costumes and fun poses. We'll take your picture if you bring your friends. A great night by all! Pictures will then be emailed to you.
October 25th – Paintball @ Camp Pendleton, 9-4pm Approx. $50 to rent. First 15 RSVP get 100 free paintballs. RSVP By OCT. 23nd. Flyers/video will be out shortly.
November 7-9th - Project Mexico, visit www.ourterranova.com for more info. The high school coordinator is Mike Bowe.
November 23rd - Concert for a Cause @ Geneva Pres. to raise awareness for Project Hangout, 6-9pm $10, Featuring the PawnShop kings and some other bands.
November 26th - Game Night @ Howie’s Game Shack 7-11pm. $5 for the night. The first 40 to RSVP get a free Monster drink, pizza and guranteed seat.
January 1-4th - Winter X "Filter" - stay tuned. Talk to Ryan if you want to fundraise. The earlier the better.

Winter X ((((CRASH))))
Winter X will be Jan 3-6 and will be up at June MTN. We will be back at Boulder Lodge so bring your swimsuite. The cost for the good times will be $250* - we'll need a non-refundable deposit of $100 asap to reserve your spot. We will be riding up in a huge bus and will be joining Searidge Community Church from Irvine for some more fun!
